Enjoy a Tranquil Stroll and More at Gage Park
The city’s oldest municipal park is a great place for a tranquil stroll and other activities. It’s filled with floral beds and large trees for shade, and under winter’s chill, its circular pathway becomes an ice-skating trail. The park also hosts a swimming pool, picnic grounds and a play area as well as festivals and events throughout the year.
Splash Around at Wet ‘n’ Wild
Wet ‘n’ Wild features two swimming pools and 15 water slides, including the longest bowl slide in all of Canada and the world’s only Double Tipping Bucket Attraction, “The Big Tipper.” It offers other activities too, like a rock climbing wall, a miniature golf course and a zip line. It hosts frequent events as well, like music festivals, concerts and fitness training camps.

The circa 1852 classic five-bay Georgian-style farmhouse is located in a picturesque two-acre park-like setting and also includes an earlier log building, circa 1845, that was donated by a local developer who relocated the building to preserve its heritage.
